The Black List: The Finale (Days 28 & 29)

So here we are, it's the end of the series and I think a rather satisfying one at that. Throughout the month I've been trying to offer up unconventional/obscure choices so as to broaden the perception of Black film and what kind of topics should be/are covered. I'm ending the series with two of Black film's most important contributors, Oscar Micheaux (the father of black film) and Spike Lee (possibly the greatest and most influential Black filmmaker dead or alive). To explore the series in its entirety, from days one to twenty-nine, click here. Click the link below to see the rest of this post. I hope you've all enjoyed the project, please feel free to comment and leave suggestions on any post. Any films you disagree with or think I ignored? Let me know!
